Report on One day exhibition for paper and eco-friendly products in connection with IEC of Solid Waste Management Component held on 15th December 2007 at Subash Park, Ernakulam
In connection with the Information Education and Communication (IEC) - Solid Waste Management Component of KSUDP/JNNURM Projects, one day exhibition of paper and eco-friendly products was arranged on 15th December 2007 at Subash Park, Ernakulam organized by KSUDP-PIU-Corporation of Kochi in association with Kudumbashree.
About 40 stalls of different Kudumbashree units in the district participated in the exhibition. A variety of paper and eco-friendly products were exhibited to make awareness among the public especially the shop owners about the importance of using eco-friendly products.
The Exhibition was inaugurated by Shri. N A Mani, Chairman, Health and Education Standing Committee, Smt. Mini Antony IAS, Secretary, welcomed the gathering and Shri. K V Manoj, Chairman, Tax Appeal Standing Committee, presided over the meeting. Shri. T K Shamsuddin, Chairman, Welfare Standing Committee, all Councilors of Corporation of Kochi, Shri. K K Ravi, District Mission Cordinator - Kudumbashree was also participated in the function and visited the stalls. Most of the business people in Kochi also visited the exhibition and orders was placed for paper products..
